Volker Griesel!
From apprenticeship to shareholder
In 1993, Volker Griesel joined the company of his father Gerhard Griesel after training as an industrial clerk and during his subsequent studies in business administration: first as a specialist in sales, then as an assistant to the management. In 1999 he finally became managing director and in 2004 sole managing shareholder.

“When I joined the company in 1993, there were four employees in a small office in Remscheid-Lennep,” Volker Griesel recalls. “A lot has changed in the last 30 years. We have grown steadily. The company headquarters in Remscheid-Lüttringhausen has been expanded several times, most recently with a new building in 2019. New departments have been established and the number of employees has risen to a current 60. Despite all these changes, FARE has always remained true to its values. We are responsible, competent, innovative and sympathetic. This has made us what we are today: the advertising umbrella specialist in Europe.”
